When I began printmaking in Dawson, my dwelling/studio was a small gold rush era log cabin in the north end of town. My neighbours were always helpful supplying me – as the “Cheechako” newcomer – with things I might need for a better Yukon experience. One day someone brought over discarded kitchen cabinets which I didn’t really need but seized on the plywood doors for making woodcuts. This is portrait of a friend’s cat done on one of those cupboard doors.

So great if you could take a minute and leave your thoughts on this.
