Description
Ilgvars produced many pastels in his later practice. This, to me is one of his more beguiling works. I took liberties with this image by featuring it in a short film where I animated the portrait singing Isabella Rossini’s version of Blue Velvet from the David Lynch movie of the same name. I hope dad would have approved.
