Here’s my twist on the trillions of selfies floating out there in the digital ether. Although I approached it a bit differently than most by making my smartphone image into aN actual woodblock print.
The matrix is half inch birch ply cut with my gouges, etc. Inked up with Gamblin black on handmade Japanese washi paper. The paper is rather precious since it came down from my father’s collection, so it’s the real deal!
