A whole new generation likely knows little about America’s illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003. The passage of time and media manipulation does an efficient job of obscuring some difficult aspects of history. During that horrific year, I made a series of linocuts protesting George Bush’s Iraq invasion. America carried out murder in a foreign country on the strength of fabricated lies. The effects of this monumental blunder are being felt to this day.

The American invaders had special playing cards issued, with each card showing a picture of an Iraqi individual of interest for detainment at roadblocks, etc. I made my own “playing cards,” illustrating the criminals responsible for the invasion.

I sold these prints on eBay until I was unceremoniously banned from their platform. I was reinstated after a public outcry on the internet and other media.
