Any mayor who wishes to reach out to his constituents via their own blog can own this very specific domain name: themayorsblog.com.
As mayor of Dawson City in 2006 – 2009, I had the privilege of serving a great little historic town of 1400 people with the term ‘City’ as part of the official municipal name; “The Town of the City of Dawson.” A hold-over from 1898 when Dawson had a population of over 40,000 people; mostly American treasure hunters digging in the surrounding creeks during the famous Gold Rush of 1898. When the gold ran out, most of the people ran out. Today, remnants of that era still exist.
So, if you as mayor would like their own specific targeted website, you can make me an offer on themayorsblog.com. Message me.
